SLOVAK PREMIERE. The production explores how folk music and dance, traditionally associated with celebrations and rituals, can find expression through contemporary bodies and voices. Using simple movement, rhythm and shared experience, it creates a space for belonging and searches for what can connect us in a time of social tension.

VOLVAMOS AL BAILE is a dance work about memory embedded in movement. Inka Romaní draws on the dancing of her grandmother and her friends, which gradually disappeared from courtyards, streets and communal life. Through the body, film archives, memories and personal closeness, she explores how the Francoist dictatorship in Spain shaped women’s bodies through dance, gymnastics and ideas of discipline.

L’EXPAT is a dance solo about leaving, returning and living between several cultures. Salim Mzé Hamadi Moissi draws on his own experience of having lived away from home and, after returning, searching again for a relationship with his roots.
